7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students reviewed the the use of multiplicative inverses, and we practiced several more examples as a group to clarify several questions brought up by the students.  After some teacher led examples, students did a few problems on their own, before being assigned some homework from their at home text books, page 807, # 29-40, to be due Tuesday in class.         

Assignments:  Review Homework #6 is due by Wednesday in class on the Study Island website.  The problems assigned from page 807 in the at home textbook, #29-40 are due Tuesday in class.    

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Today students reviewed the process of solving one step equations.  Students then began correcting the errors they made on their chapter 2 tests. 

Assignments:  Review Homework #5 is due Wednesday in class.  

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students continued learning about the different appeals of advertising, Ethos, Pathos, and Logos.  Students were working on an assignment where they were locating an advertisement in a magazine and explaining how the ad is incorporating one or more of the three appeals of advertising.  

Assignments:  Students should be completing the Appeals in Advertising worksheet began in class today, if they did not complete it in the time given during class.
