Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students jumped into chapter 4.  After some quick review of taking the slope of a line and the y intercept and writing an equation in point slope format, students were given class time to work on the section 4.3 explorations on parallel and perpendicular lines.  After several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 191 # 1-7 to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities. Students then continued solving equations using inverse operations.  Today students reviewed their knowledge of working with expressions and equations in preparation for the chapter 3 test on Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #22 is due on Wednesday in class.  Students can expect the chapter 3 test in class on Tuesday.

Science:  Today during science time students were given time to work with their assigned partners on the "Day in the Life" project.   The project is due on Wednesday at 1pm.   

We will be having an open house on Wednesday November 23, from 1:30 - 2:30 where students will be sharing their knowledge they acquired while researching their assigned country.
