Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students jumped into chapter 4.  After some quick review of graphing a line and finding the x - intercept and writing an equation in point slope format, students were given a lesson on interpreting scatter plots and lines of best fit.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some problems out of the textbook, pages 199-200 #1, 2, 3-15 odds, and 22, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities. Students then continued working with inequalities.  After some brief teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were given class time to begin working on the section 4.1 activities in their practice workbooks, pages 67-69, to be due on Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #23 is due on Wednesday in class.  Practice workbook pages 67-69 are due on Tuesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  We then transitioned back into reading to learn about "What is Life?"  We reviewed the six basic characteristics all living things share in common, before learning about what all living things need to survive.  After we finished reading section 1.1, students were given class time to complete the section 1.1 What is Life? worksheet.  

Assignments: If students did not finish the worksheet in the class time provided, it is due on Tuesday in class.
