Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 2 and working with inequalities. Students were reviewing the different types of inequalities, and practicing with several different scenarios.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some work from the textbook, pages 65 #3-19 odds; 20-25; 32 and page 71 #3-20 as homework, to be due on Wednesday in class.

The chapter 1 re-test opportunity (only offered with original test corrections turned into to Mr. Olsen) is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon of this week.

Assignments: Students were assigned some work from the textbook, pages 65 #3-19 odds; 20-25; 32 and page 71 #3-20 as homework, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and their flashmaster.  Next, students continued working with multiplication of whole numbers.  Students took a few notes on some tricks to help them when multiplying with whole numbers, before students were using class time to complete our multiplication of whole numbers worksheet from Monday.  

Assignments:  Review HW #5 is due on Wednesday in class.  The multiplication worksheet handed out in class is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students continued learning about the difference between observation and inference in science.  Today, students working as table groups to attempt to identify their collected plants while using some plant identification books.  

Assignments:   None.
