Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped back into chapter 2 and working with inequalities. Students were writing, graphing and solving linear inequalities using inverse operations.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some work from the textbook, pages 77 & 78 #1; 2; 13-16; 22-28 evens; 32; 33; 34; 35; 37; 41-43 as homework, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and their flashmaster.  Next, students continued working with multiplication of whole numbers.  Students took a few notes on some tricks to help them when dividing whole numbers, including the Divide; Multiply; Subtract; then Bring down rules of long division.  Students were then handed a single and double digit division worksheet and given about 25 minutes of class time to get started on the work.

Assignments:  Review HW #6 is due on Friday in class.  The division worksheet handed out in class is due on Thursday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students from Mr. Sheufelt's home base blocked with Mr. Olsen in science.  Students were introduced to our year long project, the Local Ecology Project.  Students were broken into groups and each group proceeded to establish a one-meter square plot in the woods behind the school, off the main trail, and we will return to take measurements of our established plots once a month for the rest of the school year.
