Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students took the first twenty minutes of class to complete their chapter 1 tests.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 2 and inequalities.  After some teacher led instruction on solving inequalities using addition and subtraction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, pages 77-78 #1; 2; 13-16; 22-28 evens; 32; 33; 34; 35; 37; 41-43, to be due on Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the textbook, pages 77-78 #1; 2; 13-16; 22-28 evens; 32; 33; 34; 35; 37; 41-43, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students worked with their Flashmasters.  Students reviewed the concept of adding integers.  Then we continued learning about how to subtract integers.  We subtract integers by converting each problem to an addition problem by adding the opposite of the second term and using the rules we have learned for adding integers.  After a quick review, students were handed the section 1.3 Practice B worksheet and given about 25 minutes in class to work on that.

Assignments:  Review Homework #8 is due on Wednesday in class.  The section 1.3 Practice B worksheet is due on Tuesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students finalized  an elevational profile of the Wolverine Trail that we collected data on last week.

Assignments: Students who did not complete their elevation profile of the Wolverine Trail in class should be completing it as homework and turning it in on Tuesday.
