Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 2 and inequalities.  After a quick review on solving inequalities through addition, subtraction, multiplication and or division as well as multi-step inequalities, students were introduced to compound inequalities.  Students had a brief introduction to compound inequalities, before being assigned pages 48-49 and page 51 #1-5 of the practice workbook as homework, to be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook pages 48-49 and page 51 #1-5, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students worked with their Flashmasters.  Students reviewed the concept of subtracting integers, by rewriting the problem as an addition problem by adding the opposite of the second term (or third term) of the problem and then using the rules we learned for adding integers.  Students were completing the 1.3 Practice B worksheet in class today.

Assignments:  Review Homework #8 is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were learning about and working with scientific vocabulary words.  
 
Assignments: Students who did not complete their elevation profile of the Wolverine Trail in class should be completing it as homework and turning it in on Wednesday.
