Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  We then graded our homework from Tuesday, before transitioning into section 1.5 on rearranging formulas to highlight and/or solve for a missing quantity.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the text book, pages 40-41 #4; 5; 7; 10; 12; 14; 17; 20; 32, to be due on Friday in class.


Students can expect a quiz on chapter 1 on Friday in class.  The chapter 1 Test is scheduled for Tuesday September 17.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students worked with their Flashmasters.  Students were then working with understanding the concept of absolute value.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were given class time to complete practice workbook page 6.  

Assignments:  Review Homework #5 is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were learning about the geology of planet Earth over time.

Assignments: Some students may be needing to complete their Scientific Summer Self Evaluation google classroom assignment if they did not finish in the class time provided.
