7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day. Next, students began a review process of some basic geometry concepts.  We reviewed the correct notation for displaying lines, rays, segments, as well as angles and the measure of angles.  We practiced identifying several examples, before students were assigned some homework from their at home text books, page 286, #1-10 for class on Tuesday.    
Assignments:  Review Homework #10 is due by Wednesday in class on the Study Island website.  The problems #1-10 on page 286 are due Tuesday in class.  


Students were also introduced to a month long project, The Fraction Finding Mission.  Students can be continuing to work on this project on their down time throughout the month.    

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with a problem of the day.  We then continued reviewed solving equations using the distributive property. Next, students were introduced to solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign.  

Assignments:  Students should be working on any missing work they have between now and Wednesday.  

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Today was a review day for the upcoming Chemistry test on Tuesday of this week.  

Assignments:  Students should be reviewing their notes for the chemistry test on Tuesday.
