8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued to progress through the levels of their assigned Flashmasters. We then began working on reviewing solving one step equations. After some teacher led instruction, and several examples, students were handed a worksheet and asked to complete it for class on Friday.
Assignments: Review Homework #5 is due on Friday in class. The front side of the solving one step equations worksheet is due on Friday in class.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued reviewing and identifying terms of expressions before simplifying the expressions and solving one step equations using addition and/or subtraction. After some teacher led instruction, and then were handed a solving one step equations using multiplication and/or division worksheet to be due Friday in class.
Assignments: Review Homework #5 is due on Friday in class. The solving one step equations using multiplication and division worksheet is due on Friday in class.
Science: Today in science, students began class with the Do Now. Students shared and reviewed the different observations and questions we came up with concerning both wet and dry ice. We then began learning about how matter behaves when energy (or heat) is added to it.
