8th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.  Some students then continued to progress through the levels of their assigned Flashmasters, while others, who have tested out of Flashmasters began class with the POD.  Students then continued working with solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign.  Students were reminded of some key vocabulary, before students were led through several examples of how to work through different equations.  After some teacher led instruction, students were assigned several problems on a worksheet (odds only) to be due Monday October 5th in class.

Assignments:  The worksheet on solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign (odds Only) will be due on Monday Oct. 5th in class.

7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.  Students then were given the remaining time in class to complete their chapter 1 tests.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then given the remaining class time to continue planning and ultimately finalize their groups investigation in order to conduct the experiment or systematic observation on Monday in class.   Groups are expected to have their investigations (either an systematic observation or an experiment) by the end of class on Wednesday of this week in order to conduct these investigations next Monday in class.
