8th Grade Math: Students began class with the problem of the day before students jumped back into finding LCMs. Mr. Olsen led students through several example problems before handing students the 4.4 worksheet and asking students to complete #1-17 (odds only) for tomorrow.
Assignments: Review Homework #27 is due Wednesday. Section 4.4 worksheet #1-17 odds only for Wednesday.
7th Grade Math: Today students began class with their flashmasters before jumping back into chapter 4. Today we reviewed the process of converting mixed numbers into improper fractions and vise versa. After several example problems, Mr. Olsen handed out the 4.6 worksheet and asked that students complete it for Wednesday.
Assignments: Review Homework #29 is due Wednesday. Complete 4.6 worksheet for Wednesday.
Science: Today in science students continued our discussion concerning the differences between diffusion, osmosis and active transport. We then began watching the film Osmosis Jones.
Assignments: Catch up on any missing assignments, as this is the last week of quarter number two!
