7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the problem of the day.  Students then jumped back into chapter 10, and today students were introduced to finding the area of parallelograms and trapezoids.  Students were introduced to the area formulas for both parallelograms and trapezoids, and worked through several example problems, calculating the area for the given polygon.  Students were then assigned the 10.3 worksheet to be due on Tuesday in class.
