8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day. Next, students spent the class period reviewing and practicing simplifying expressions, combining like terms, and solving equations.
Assignments: Review Homework #26 is due Wednesday in class. Students were also asked to complete a worksheet that includes six two-step equations for class on Tuesday.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters. Next, students were introduced to bar graphs and line graphs. We spent some time in class interpreting and developing a bar graph with the information given to the students by Mr. Olsen.
Assignments: Review Homework #26 is due Wednesday in class.
Science: Students began class with the Do Now. Next, students began learning about photosynthesis. Students began class by reviewing the organelles we learned about last semester, before students defined six new vocabulary words. Next, we began reading section 2.1 on Photosynthesis. We will pick up on this reading Tuesday in class.
