8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day. Next, students were re-introduced to solving inequalities using addition and subtraction. The same process of solving equations with equal signs still apply to solving inequalities. Students worked with graphing simple inequalities using open or closed circles on a number line. Students then went through several examples with Mr. Olsen, before they were assigned the section 3.4 worksheet (odds) for homework.
Assignments: Review Homework #28 is due Friday in class. The section 3.4 worksheet (odds) is due Thursday in class.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters. Next, students were introduced to stem and leaf plots. After reviewing the rules of how to create a stem and leaf plot, we went through a few examples as a class, before students were assigned the section 3.3 worksheet as homework, to be due Thursday in class.

Science: Students began class with the Do Now. Next, students were introduced to the cell division process called mitosis. We reviewed the three stages of the cell division process as well as the four phases of mitosis. Students then began filling in a worksheet designed to help them understand how each phase works and what happens throughout each phase. We will pick up on this concept on Thursday in class.
