Algebra I: Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day. Today students were reviewing translating and reflecting, and stretching and shrinking linear functions. Students then jumped back into section 6 on identifying functions with multiple transformations. We reviewed the format and presentation of the functions and how to identify the type of transformation. After some teacher led instruction and a few examples, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page 152 #41-46, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day. Next, students used class time to catch up on missing work and/or complete the extra credit halloween packet handed out last week.
Assignments: Students were handed a Halloween-themed EXTRA CREDIT packet that will be due by Wednesday November 6th. Review Homework #17 is due on Wednesday in class.
Science: Students began class with the Do Now. Next, students continued learning about the history of the Earth and how the atmosphere formed.
