Algebra I: Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day. Next, students jumped back into chapter 4. Today students were working with scatter plots and correlations between data sets. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned the explorations in the practice workbook, pages 114-115, to be due on Monday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day. Next, students were continuing to work with simplifying expressions by identifying the terms of an expression before combining like terms and using the distributive property before simplifying. Today, students were learning about prime numbers and the sieve of Eratosthenes.

Science: Students in the Taku House celebrated cultural holidays with each homeroom this afternoon.
