Algebra I: Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day. Next, students jumped back into chapter 4 as we were reviewed our knowledge of the slope formula and writing equations of functions presented in various ways into slope intercept form. Today students were introduced to point-slope form, deduced from the slope formula by rearranging that formula into point-slope. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 185 #1; 8-14, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day. Next, students were continuing to work with simplifying expressions by identifying the terms of an expression before combining like terms. Today, students were working with the distributive property and continuing to simplify expressions by completing a review worksheet in class.
Assignments: Review Homework #19 is due on Wednesday in class.
Science: Students began class with the Do Now. Next, students continued working with their assigned partner on creating a presentation on an assigned time PERIOD of the planet Earth. Students are researching and developing a poster product that they can use to present their research to their classmates early next week.
