Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 4 as we were reviewed our knowledge of point-slope form, and how to use the point-slope formula to write a linear function in slope intercept form.  Today students were learning about how to find if two or more lines are parallel or perpendicular.   After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page 191 #1-12, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were continuing to work with simplifying expressions by identifying the terms of an expression before combining like terms and using the distributive property before simplifying.  Today, students were learning how to add and subtract linear expressions.

Assignments:  Review Homework #20 is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students continued working with their assigned partner on creating a presentation on an assigned time PERIOD of the planet Earth.  Students are researching and developing a poster product that they can use to present their research to their classmates early next week.  Student groups should have finished up their research today in class and began printing and matting their information.  Friday will be the final work day for this poster project.
