Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped into chapter 6.  Students began by reviewing the answers to our homework from Tuesday, before we continued working with negative and zero exponents as well as simplifying expressions using the rules of exponents.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some problems from the textbook as homework, p. 303-304 #1; 8-12; 16-34 evens; 35; 40, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing the rules for adding and subtracting integers as well as combining like terms.  We then continued building our skill of solving two step equations.  Students were given class time to work on solving several two step equations which students turned in before leaving class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #26 is due on Wednesday.

Science:  Mr. Olsen's homebase had a block this afternoon with Mr. Olsen in science.  Students are currently learning about our solar system and we watched a film exploring our planet Earth and the solar system we are apart of.  

Assignments: None.
