Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 6.  Students began by reviewing how to identify exponential growth or decay, as well as how to identify the percent rate of change from a given function.  We spent some time on how to re-write exponential functions before students were introduced to the compound interest formula.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, pages 319-320 #22-29; 44; 54; 57-60, to be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the textbook, pages 319-320 #22-29; 44; 54; 57-60, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students continued working with inequalities and chapter 4.  We began class with a quick review/lesson on inequality symbols and how to use them when working with number lines.  Students were then solving inequalities by using addition or subtraction.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students used the last 20 minutes of class time to complete an inequality worksheet.

Assignments:  Review Homework #30 is due on Friday.  The solving inequalities worksheet is due on Thursday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students got together with their partner and finalized their research of their assigned planet and began putting together their digital poster.  Students will also be putting together a 3-D model of their assigned planet. The project will be due on Friday by the end of the day.

Assignments: Students should be completing the Planets - 5 Fun Facts and/or the Space Math as well as the Earth digital poster google classroom assignments if they did not complete them during the class time provided.
