Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped into chapter 6.  Students began by reviewing the answers to our homework from Tuesday, before we reviewed how to work with negative and zero exponents as well as how to write in rational exponent form.  Students then continued working with exponential functions.  Students were learning how to identify and evaluate exponential functions.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned homework from the textbook, page 310 #5-14 and 15-19 odds, to be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned practice workbook pages 178-179 as homework, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing the rules for adding and subtracting integers as well as combining like terms.  Students participated in a chapter 3 review activity in order to be prepared for the chapter 3 test on Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #27 is due on Friday.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Students then completed our google classroom assignment, where students are finding five fun facts about each of the planets of our solar system.  

Assignments: Students should be completing the Planets - 5 Fun Facts google classroom assignment if they did not complete it during the class time provided.
