Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped into chapter 6.  Students began by reviewing the answers to our homework from Monday, before we reviewed how to work with negative and zero exponents as well as how to write in rational exponent form.  Students were then introduced exponential functions.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned practice workbook pages 178-179 as homework, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing the rules for adding and subtracting integers as well as combining like terms.  We then continued building our skill of solving two step equations.  Students were given class time to complete the two step equations worksheet we began working on in class on Monday, which students turned in before leaving class.

Students can expect the chapter 3 TEST on Thursday of this week.

Assignments:  Review Homework #26 is due on Wednesday.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Students then began working on a google classroom assignment, where students are finding five fun facts about each of the planets of our solar system.  

Assignments: None.
