Algebra I: Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day. Next, students jumped into chapter 6. Students began by reviewing the answers to our homework from Friday, before students began learning about exponential growth and decay functions. After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, pages 319-320 #4; 5-21 odds; 38, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day. Next, students continued working with inequalities and chapter 4. We began class with a quick review/lesson on inequality symbols and how to use them when working with number lines. Students were then given class time to work on and complete section 4.1 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Tuesday in class.
Assignments: Review Homework #29 is due on Wednesday. The section 4.1 Practice A worksheet is due on Tuesday in class.
Science: Students began class with the Do Now. Next, students were given 20 minutes of class time to complete and submit their digital planet poster on Earth. Next, students were paired up with a partner and assigned a planet from our solar system. Together with their partners, each group will research their assigned planet and create a digital poster product on that research. The project will be due on Friday by the end of the day.
Assignments: Students should be completing the Planets - 5 Fun Facts and/or the Space Math as well as the Earth digital poster google classroom assignments if they did not complete them during the class time provided.
