Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 6.  Students began by reviewing how to identify exponential growth or decay, as well as how to identify the percent rate of change from a given function.  We spent some time on how to re-write exponential functions before students continued working with the compound interest formula.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned the section 6.4 Practice B worksheet as homework, to be due on Friday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned the section 6.4 Practice B worksheet as homework, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students continued working with inequalities and chapter 4.  We began class with a quick review/lesson on inequality symbols and how to use them when working with number lines.  Students were then solving inequalities by using addition or subtraction.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students used the last 20 minutes of class time to complete an inequality puzzle worksheet.

Assignments:  Review Homework #30 is due on Friday.  The solving inequalities puzzle worksheet is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students got together with their partner and finalized their digital poster.  Students then began putting together a 3-D model of their assigned planet. The project will be due on Friday by the end of the day.

Assignments: Students should be completing the Planets - 5 Fun Facts and/or the Space Math as well as the Earth digital poster google classroom assignments if they did not complete them during the class time provided.
