8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students began taking the chapter 5 test in class today.  
 
Assignments:  Review HW #47 is dueWednesday in class.  

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students continued working in chapter 6 and integers.  Students reviewed the difference between positive and negative integers, as well as how to use a number line to help in their understanding of an integer and its opposite.  Today, students were introduced to multiplying integers, and the rules associated with same and different signs.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned the section 6.4 WS, to be due Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #47 is due Wednesday in class.  Students were assigned the section 6.4 WS to be due Tuesday in class.

Science: Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students moved into the next unit/topic in science, the human body.  Today students worked with a partner to label and identify as many bones, parts, organs, and systems as they could by sketching an outline of a human body and drawing in and labeling as much as possible.
