8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students completed their chapter 5 test in class today.  Students were also introduced to the Fraction Finding Mission.  Students will be responsible for learning and memorizing 17 commonly used fractions and their decimal and percentage equivalents by May 8th.    
 
Assignments:  Review HW #47 is due Wednesday in class.  Students should be beginning the memorization for their Fraction Finding Mission.  

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students continued working in chapter 6 and integers.  Students reviewed the difference between positive and negative integers, as well as how to use a number line to help in their understanding of an integer and its opposite.  Today, students were introduced to dividing integers, and the rules associated with same and different signs.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned the section 6.5 WS #1-15, to be due Wednesday in class.

Science: Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students moved into the next unit/topic in science, the human body.  Today students read about the levels of organization within the human body and how stress affects everyone.
