8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  This morning, students jumped back into chapter 6 and are learning how to solve porportions.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned the section 6.2 WS (odds) as homework, to be due Thursday in class.  As a reminder, the test for the FFM is scheduled for May 8th.    
 
Assignments:  Review HW #50 is due Friday in class.  The section 6.2 WS (odds) is due on Thursday in class.  Students should be continuing the memorization for their Fraction Finding Mission.  

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students continued working in chapter 6 and integers.  Students reviewed the difference between positive and negative integers, as well as how to use a number line to help in their understanding of an integer and its opposite.  Today, students continued working with the properties of addition and multiplication, as well as learning about the identity properties and inverse properties.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned the section 6.6 WS as homework, to be due Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #50 is due Friday in class.  The section 6.6 WS is due Thursday in class.

Science: Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students got back with their assigned body system partner and groups were given time in the computer lab to finalize their research, and to begin putting together their presentations on Google Slides or the powerpoint program.    

   

Assignments:   Students should be researching their assigned body system.
