8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  This morning, our school had a practice evacuation drill, and it took place from 845am and lasted until after 930am.  Thus students reviewed the expectations of the Fraction Finding Mission and were then given time to review their foldables to help students begin the memorization process.  As a reminder, the test for the FFM is scheduled for May 8th.

Assignments:  Review HW #48 is due Friday in class.  Students should be continuing the memorization for their Fraction Finding Mission.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students continued working in chapter 6 and integers.  Students reviewed the difference between positive and negative integers, as well as how to use a number line to help in their understanding of an integer and its opposite.  Today, students were introduced to rational number, irrational numbers and the differences between them and how to identify them in an expression or equation.

Assignments:  Review HW #48 is due Friday in class.

Science: Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students got back with their LEP groups, and we went outside to our one meter square plots to take some data and make observations to aid in the upcoming iMovie project.
