Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 3.  Students were then working with how to describe the graph of the equation              y = mx + b.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were handed the section 3.5 Practice B worksheet, which will be due on Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned the section 3.5 Practice B worksheet, to be due Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities.  Students continued working with algebraic expressions today in class.  We continued working with identifying terms, like terms, as well as coefficients and constants.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples of identifying terms and simplifying expressions, students were assigned the section 3.1 Practice A worksheet, to be due Tuesday in class.  

Assignments:  Review HW #16 is due on Wednesday in class.  The section 3.1 Practice A worksheet is due on Tuesday in class.

Science:  Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students jumped back into the study of inquiry. Students continued our group investigative activity, and today students groups finalized their initial investigation into possible explanations behind the school absences within our "test community" we have been working with.  Students were analyzing attendance data and drawing conclusions based on the evidence they gathered from the data.
