Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students jumped into chapter 3.  Students then continued talking about function notation.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples worked out together, students were assigned some problems out of the text book, pages 125-126 #12-30 evens and 31-42 to be due Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities.  Students then made corrections to their chapter 2 tests in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #15 is due on Friday in class.  

Science:  Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students jumped back into the study of inquiry. Students continued our group discussion about how to identify questions that could be tested by a scientific investigation, and were then given the opportunity to read three different letters to the editor.  Each student was then given the opportunity to develop two different testable questions about one of the letters and describe an investigation or experiment that would help them find some evidence to support their questions.
