Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students graded their homework from Tuesday evening.  Students were then given the remaining time in class to complete a review activity in preparation for the chapter 2 test on Thursday.  

Assignments:  Students should be preparing for the chapter 2 test on Thursday.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities.  We then jumped back into chapter 2 and began discussing rational numbers.  Students continued working through how to add and subtract rational numbers, including fractions and decimals. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were asked to complete activity 3 in the practice workbook, pages 34 & 35 while in class.  The homework is workbook page 36, to be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #12 is due on Friday in class.  Students were assigned workbook page 36 to be due Thursday in class.

Science:  Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students jumped into their LEP groups and we went outside to their one meter square plots in order to collect plant specimens for the groups to identify in class on Thursday.
