Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems. Next, students jumped back into chapter 2 and today were learning how to solve absolute value inequalities. Students were reminded of how to solve absolute value equations and the rules associated with those equations, and how to apply those same rules to solving multiple step absolute value inequalities. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some problems from the text book as homework, page 91 # 1, 2, 3-17 odds, 20, 23-27 odds, to be due Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities. We then jumped back into chapter 2 and began discussing rational numbers. Students continued working through how to add rational numbers, including fractions and decimals. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were asked to complete practice workbook pages 29-31, to be due on Tuesday in class.
Students can expect a quiz on rational numbers on Friday in class.
Assignments: Review HW #11 is due on Wednesday in class. Students were assigned practice workbook pages 29-31 for class on Tuesday.
Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now. Next, students jumped into their LEP groups and each student wrote a descriptive narrative of how to find their groups plot located somewhere around the trail behind the school.
