Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students continued with chapter 8 and quadratic functions.  We then jumped back into chapter 8 and students were reviewing how to factor a given expression, as well as reviewing slope intercept form.  Students were then introduced to quadratic functions in intercept form, f(x) = a(x - p)(x - q) and how to find zeros of a quadratic function after factoring it.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some problems from the text book, page 455 #10; 24; 27; 29; 52; 54; 58; 63.  These problems will be due on Wednesday in class.
