Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Students then jumped right back into chapter 9.  Students reviewed the process for solving equations, before we went over how to solve quadratic equations using square roots.  Students went over the rules associated with the concept, and after some teacher led instruction and several example problems related to solving equations using square roots, students jumped into section 9.4 on solving quadratic equations by completing the square.  Students worked through several example problems before being assigned some problems from the text book, page 511 #5-9 odds; 11-16 all; 17-21 odds, to be due on Thursday in class.
