Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before we jumped back into chapter 1.  Today, students reviewed the process of rewriting formulas to solve for a missing variable, before students were given the remaining class time to begin reviewing for the chapter 1 test on Tuesday.

Assignments: The chapter 1 test will be on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students reviewed the activities we did as homework.  Next, students continued adding integers.  We reviewed the differences between whole numbers and integers and then students reviewed the song (sung to the tune of Row, Row, Row your boat) that Mr. Olsen introduced to students last week.  Then, students began working on the activities in section 1.1 on adding integers.

Assignments: Students were asked to complete practice workbook page 7 (activities 1-3) for class on Tuesday.  Review HW #5 is due on Wednesday.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued our discussion on observations in science.  Today students were reviewing what is matter and what is not matter.  We also discussed how matter behaves as energy is added.

Assignments:  None.
