Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before we jumped back into chapter 2.  Students took a quiz on the first four sections of chapter 2 today in class.  

Assignments: Students were assigned some workbook pages, p. 48-51 that will be due on Thursday in class. 

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students reviewed the section 1.3 worksheet we did as homework.  Next, students reviewed the rules for multiplying integers, before students were introduced to dividing integers.  Students learned that dividing integers has the same rules as multiplying integers. After a bit of teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned workbook page 22, to be due on Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued our discussion on observations in science.  Today, students were learning about investigable questions in science and how to identify them.  After some vocabulary review, students broke into pairs and worked through a list of 14 questions, attempting to sort the questions into categories, including experiments, systematic observations or research based questions.

Assignments:  None.
