Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before we jumped back into chapter 2.  Today students continued our conversation on inequalities.  The rest of the class period was dedicated to reviewing for the chapter 2 test, scheduled for Thursday in class.

Assignments: The chapter 2 test will be on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students transitioned into chapter 2 and rational numbers.  We spent todays class period reviewing how to write a fraction from a picture, and how to write equivalent fractions from a given rational number.

Assignments: Review HW #10 is due Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued our discussion on observations in science.  We then transitioned back into the jigsaw activity we began on Tuesday in class, where students were researching given questions on Dry Ice and carbon dioxide in order to share the information they researched with their table mates.  Students had most of the class period to complete the jigsaw worksheet, before students observed a demonstration by Mr. Olsen called the Mystery of the Floating Bubbles.  Students wrote a hypothesis on what they thought would happen, before watching the demonstration, and then providing some explanations and conclusions of what they saw.

Assignments:  None.
