Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before we jumped back into chapter 2.  Students reviewed the rules for solving inequalities using multiplication and division, before students began solving inequalities involving multiple steps.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples problems, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page 77 #1; 2; 13-16; 22-28 evens; 32; 33; 34; 35; 37; 41-43.  These problems will be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments: Students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page 77 #1; 2; 13-16; 22-28 evens; 32; 33; 34; 35; 37; 41-43.  These problems will be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students reviewed the section 1.3 worksheet we did as homework.  Next, students reviewed the rules for adding and subtracting integers, before students were introduced to multiplying integers.  Students copied the rules for multiplying integers with the same and different signs into their math notebooks.  We then began practicing some multiplication problems, identifying whether we were working with the same signs or different signs.

Assignments: Review HW #7 is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued our discussion on observations in science.  Today students were back in their table groups, and students were exploring dry ice in a soap solution when using different temperatures of water.  Groups preformed the experiment, and made some qualitative observations as they observed the phenomena.  Students ended class by attempting to explain what they witnessed as well as providing some conclusions and explanations.

Assignments:  None.
