8th Grade Math: Today in math students completed their chapter 5 test.
Assignments: Review Homework #11 is due on Wednesday.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters, before we jumped back into chapter 10 and working with triangles. After some teacher led examples and review, students were handed the 10.3 worksheet and given 25 minutes of class time to complete the work.
Assignments: Review HW #12 is due Wednesday. Complete the 10.3 worksheet for Tuesday if students did not finish in the class time allotted.
Science: Today in science students took part in a lab to test the strength of a magnet. After Mr. Olsen demonstrated the procedures for the class, students paired up and once they had their materials, the students took off and completed the lab at their own pace. Students had to complete a data sheet, build a line graph based on their results and answer several questions regarding the lab they took part in.
Assignments: Complete the data table, line graph and the associated questions for Tuesday.
