8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the problem of the day. We then jumped back into solving percent problems using proportions and the newly introduced percent equation. Students did several example problems with Mr. Olsen, before being handed the 7.3 worksheet and asked to complete the problems for Wednesday.
Assignments: Review Homework #14 is due on Wednesday. Complete the 7.3 worksheet ALL for Wednesday.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters, before we jumped back into similar and congruent polygons. Students did several examples with Mr. Olsen before being given a worksheet to practice their newfound skills.
Assignments: Review HW #15 is due Wednesday. Complete the 10.5 worksheet ALL for Wednesday.
Science: Today in science students began class with a discussion on series and parallel circuits, before Mr. Olsen asked students to read section 2 of our Electricity and Magnetism text book and answer several questions in order to help prepare students for the upcoming lab scheduled to begin tomorrow and go into Thursday.
Assignments: Complete the questions on circuits measurements and series and parallel circuits for Wednesday.
