8th Grade Math: Today in
pre-algebra, students began class with the problem of the day. Next,
students continued working with isometrics. Today students were introduced to our project, Isometric Dream House. Students will be designing, sketching, drafting, tracing and polishing their dream house on isometric dot paper. This will be going on for the next week and a half or so.
Assignments: Review Homework #23 is due on Friday.
7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class using their flashmasters. Next, students were introduced to the multiplication and division properties of equality. Students began solving equations by "undoing" equations by using the inverse operation.
Assignments: Review Homework #23 is due on Friday. Students should be attempting to complete the 7.4 worksheet.
Science: Today in science, students began class with the Do Now. Next, students were introduced to the rocket project. Today, students divided themselves up into groups of three or four, and assigned roles amongst themselves within the group.

FYI: Parents! Starting on Monday (10/31, the first day of the second quarter), teachers in the Aurora house will no longer accept late work from our students. Students will get credit for the work they do, when it is due.
