8th Grade Math: Today in
pre-algebra, students began class with the problem of the day. Next,
students continued working with isometrics. Students reviewed the
definitions of key vocabulary and were able to spend the majority of
class practicing creating shapes using isometric dot paper.
Assignments: Review Homework #23 is due on Friday.
7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class using their flashmasters. Next, students continued working with solving equations using addition and subtraction.
Assignments: Review Homework #23 is due on Friday. Students should be completing
their worksheet on solving equations using addition and subtraction if they did not finish in the class time provided.
Science: Today in science, students began class with the Do Now. Next, students were given time to work on their paper airplane projects.

Assignments: Students have been asked to come to class on Thursday with the designs of paper airplanes they plan on testing throughout their project, along with a hypothesis for their project.
FYI: Parents! Starting on Monday (10/31, the first day of the second quarter), teachers in the Aurora house will no longer accept late work from our students. Students will get credit for the work they do, when it is due.
