8th Grade Math:  Today in pre-algebra, students began class with the problem of the day.  Next, students continued working with isometrics.  Today students were given class time to continue sketching and begin tracing their "dream house."  

Assignments:     Review Homework #25 is due on Friday.  

 
7th Grade Math:  Today in math, students began class using their flashmasters.  Next, students reviewed solving two step equations and continued practicing several examples.  Students were then assigned the 7.5 worksheet and given about 25 minutes of class time to complete the assignment. 

  

Assignments:  Review Homework #25 is due on Friday.  Students were assigned the 7.5 worksheet, which is due on Thursday.     

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students got back into their rocket groups and today students completed the assembly the fins on their airframes and put together the shock cord.    

Assignments:     Students should be working on their Paper Airplane projects on their free time as there will not be too much more class time available to work on it. 

FYI:  Parents!  Starting on Monday (10/31, the first day of the second quarter), teachers in the Aurora house will no longer accept late work from our students.  Students will get credit for the work they do, when it is due.
