8th Grade Math: Today in
pre-algebra, students began class with the problem of the day. Next,
students continued working with isometrics. Today students were given
class time to continue sketching and begin tracing their "dream house."
Assignments: Review Homework #25 is due on Friday. Dream houses are due at the end of class on Friday!!
7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class using their flashmasters. Next, students reviewed solving two step equations and continued practicing several examples. Students were then assigned a worksheet on solving two step equations and given about 40 minutes of class time to complete the assignment.
Assignments: Review
Homework #25 is due on Friday. Students were assigned a worksheet on solving two step equations, which is due on Friday. There will be a quiz on Friday as well.
Science:
Today in science, students began class with the Do Now. Next, students
got back into their rocket groups and today students completed the assembly of their parachute and attached it to their rockets.
Assignments: Students should be working on their Paper Airplane projects on their free time as there will not be too much more class time available to work on it. Friday will be the last day of class time dedicated to the Paper Airplane Project. It will be due on Friday May 25th.
