7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped into chapter 2 section one on using and identifying the properties of addition and multiplication.  Students were introduced to the commutative and and associative properties, and we practiced identifying when each of those properties were being used in examples.  

Assignments:  Students were assigned problems from their at home text books, page 66, #1-15.  Review Homework #8 is due on Wednesday in class.   

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, we jumped back into the quiz we started Friday in class.  The quiz on Friday was interrupted by a lock down drill, so Mr. Olsen gave students more time to complete the quiz today in class.    

Assignments:   Review Homework #8 is due Wednesday in class. 
     
Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, participated in another lab experiment, today attempting to answer the question "Does temperature play a role in how fast dry ice sublimates?"  

Assignments:  Students should be completing their conclusions and explantations from today experiment for class on Tuesday.
