7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 2 section one on using and identifying the properties of addition and multiplication and using conversion factors.  Students reviewed the commutative and and associative properties, and were introduced to the identity properties of addition and multiplication.   

Assignments:  Students were assigned the section 2.1 worksheet as homework to be due Wednesday in class.  Review Homework #8 is due on Wednesday in class.   

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students began reviewing the rules of rounding numbers.  Students took cornell notes on the rules of rounding and we practiced several examples as a class.     

Assignments:   Review Homework #8 is due Wednesday in class. 
     
Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students participated in a lab experiment, today attempting to answer the question "Does temperature play a role in how fast dry ice sublimates?"  Todays experiment had students determining an outcome variable and developing a hypothesis based on that outcome variable.  Students then conducted the experiment in order to verify their hypothesis.   

Assignments:  Students should be completing their conclusions and explantations from today experiment for class on Wednesday.
