Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, we graded our homework from Tuesday, giving students the opportunity to ask clarifying questions and check their work against that of Mr. Olsen, before jumping back into section 3 and learning how to use function notation in order to solve and graph functions.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page 125 #1-10 all; 12-30 evens; 37-41 odds, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing their knowledge of adding and subtracting unlike fractions.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and several examples, students were given 30 minutes of class time to complete an adding and subtracting unlike fractions worksheet in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #13 is due on Wednesday in class.  The adding and subtracting unlike fractions worksheet is due on Tuesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then continuing to learn about watersheds.  Today, students walked out to the Switzer Creek meadow and were sketching the Switzer Creek watershed.
