Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Today students were reviewed graphing horizontal and vertical lines as well as using intercepts to graph functions.  Students then jumped back into section 5 on describing the equation y = mx + b.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned the 3.5 Practice B worksheet as homework, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing their knowledge of adding and subtracting unlike fractions and working with decimals.  Today students were multiplying and dividing rational numbers.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned homework from the practice workbook, page 40.  

Assignments:  Review Homework #15 is due on Friday in class.  

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then drawing their own watershed.  Students were logging into google classroom and clicking on an interactive map with layers that show all the watersheds and subwatersheds of the Juneau region.  Students were locating their home on the map and then drawing the watershed that includes their home.
