Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Today students were reviewed graphing horizontal and vertical lines as well as using intercepts to graph functions.  Students then jumped back into section 6 on translating and reflecting the parent function y = x.  Students practiced reflecting points in the coordinate plane in both the x and y axes.  After some teacher led instruction and a few examples, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page151 #1-10, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing their knowledge of adding and subtracting and multiplying and dividing fractions (and mixed numbers) and working with decimals.  Today students were continuing to multiply and divide rational numbers.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were completing a quick worksheet on multiplying and dividing rational numbers.

Assignments:  Review Homework #16 is due on Wednesday in class.  

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then learning about the history of the Earth and information on the layers of the Earth as well as the layers of the atmosphere of the Earth.

Assignments: None.
